uec project ! 是一个融合设计、开放阅读、展览分享的门店，同时是提供给设计师，艺术家实现更多可能性的平台。“up!” 作为 uec project ! 的缩写，有着向上的涵义，我们将其涵义与品牌传递的趣味性创意性概念进行结合，并融入品牌字体设计当中，同时表达创作者在进行艺术创作时的思维跳跃状态。

我们在 26 个英文字母中挑选了 6 个适合作为 “跳跃符号” 的字母，并加入了两大设计规则：
① 在一个单词里，当两个以上 “跳跃符号” 相连，它们会以一种向上的方式排列；
② 当 “跳跃符号” 后一个字母是正常字母，它们可以被选择向上提升一个规定的高度。两个规则下，这一套字体形成了特别的排列方式。品牌的卡通形象：我们以 “书中自有黄金庙” 为概念，设计了庙宇形象的插画，庙宇的造型灵感来源于《西游记》中孙悟空大战二郎神中的其中一个变化，我们将其作为门店里的 “黄金庙”。孙悟空的 72 变也体现了创意的千变万化，与品牌的理念契合。

品牌的卡通形象：我们以 “书中自有黄金庙” 为概念，设计了庙宇形象的插画，庙宇的造型灵感来源于《西游记》中孙悟空大战二郎神中的其中一个变化，我们将其作为门店里的 “黄金庙”。孙悟空的 72 变也体现了创意的千变万化，与品牌的理念契合。

uec project ! is a store that combines design, reading, exhibition and sharing, meanwhile, it‘s a platform for designers and artists to materialize more ideas. As the abbreviation of uec project ! is up, which means going up, we combined it with the fun and creative concept of the brand, and integrated it into the typeface design, representing the active thinking when we are creating.

We selected 6 out of the 26 letters of the English alphabet that are suitable as ‘jump symbols’ and mainly followed two design principles: :
① In a word, when two or more ‘jump symbols’ are connected, they will be arranged in an upward direction ;
② When a ‘jump symbol’ is followed by another ‘jump symbol’, they will be arranged in an upward direction. When those after the ‘jump symbol’ are normal letters, they can be risen upwards to a specified height by choice.

With these rules, this set of fonts forms a special arrangement.Cartoon image of the brand: we designed the illustration of a small temple with the concept of "A book holds a temple of gold". The design is inspired by ‘Journey to the West’, where the Monkey King is capable of 72 Methods of Transformation and he transforms himself into a small temple when he’s fighting Erlang Shen. We consider the creativity to be the ‘Golden Temple’ in uec project !, as the Monkey King’s 72 Methods of Transformation also symbolize the diversity of creativity, which is in line with the concept of uec project !.
